Holiday Scrapbook Kit!

Holiday memories are some of my favorite to scrapbook.  Since having children, I started an album devoted solely to Christmas and the activities that surround it. I love going back and seeing the how excited we were and the gifts that were given.  Just being together and going back to the past makes me wonder what we have in store for future holidays.

So, whether this is for you or a friend, this kit has enough paper and ribbon to make FOUR 12x12" layouts or SIXTEEN 6x6" pages.

Color pictures of a sample two-page layout are included to provide you with inspiration!

The eBOOK is Here! Scrapbookers' Shortcuts!

My friend, Jen Peel, has been working on this eBook for about 7 months now.  I am honored and thrilled that she asked me to join in helping with some of the layouts.

Scrapbookers’ Shortcuts is a 216 page eBook featuring 50 never-before-seen sketches and 200 layouts created by everyday scrapbookers just like you. Since it is an eBook format, it is great for the traditional, the digital, and the hybrid scrapbooker.

 Use this book to:

  • Spark creativity

  •  Gather new ideas

  • Learn new techniques

  • Learn tips from the experts

  • Gain inspiration

I’m sure you will love this book and find it extremely useful.  Each page has only one layout, so the image is larger than in other idea books. Each layout also includes a supply list, the journaling typed out, and many offer tips or ideas for making your scrapbooking even easier. Boo Banner!

California Oct. 08 242

I finally got a chance to play with the Big Shot a  little bit.  My 3 year old even turned the handle and loved it!  I made this for my friend's halloween party - which was a blast!  This was the first time I had used the chunky essentials glitter. I will be using it more in the future since it adds such a neat effect to projects.  I am going to start working on holiday projects and ornaments. When I get one done, I'll post it. I am almost finished my sister's birthday present, so I will snap photos of that as well.  It is long overdue - her birthday was in June!

Halloween Card or Invitation!!

Halloween_invite_deb_krog My friend is having a Halloween party and I am so excited that I will be able to attend!!! My mom will be here to babysit - yea!  Nothing like having her come from California to watch the boys.  Anyway, I volunteered to make the invitations to the Halloween Party.  She loved them and it was so fun to have a focus and not sit in my basement and say, "Hmmmm , what do I want to work on?"  I get too distracted by everything!  Here is the card I made for her to send out.  The inside had a scallop punch and then a witch's hat on it.  The stamp set is retired, but I love the Ghostly Greetings paper.  Thanks for looking!
